John joined the firm in 2004 as Manager Valuation and through to 2018 expanded and developed the valuation, research and advisory influence and excellence of the firm into the market.

John chose a sabbatical role from 2019 – 2021 gaining further experience in asset management, acquisition and sales, leasing and development management to complement his already wide grasp on property.

In 2022 John re-joined Cygnet West in the role of Director Valuation, Research and Advisory, where he continues to evolve and expand the ambit of his division.

John’s strengths lie with his:

• Extensive property and major project experience across various regions and market sectors in Western Australia, including but not limited to Alkimos Central, Claremont North East, Cockburn Central, Murdoch Activity Centre, Elizabeth Quay, Perth City Link, Riverside, Perry Lakes, Montario Quarter, Knutsford Precinct, Shoreline, South Beach Power Station, Mandurah Ocean Marina, Exmouth Marina, Batavia Coast Marina, Ocean Reef Marina, Pilbara Cities and the Quarter in Karratha.
• Over 20 years’ experience with valuation of all property types for financial institutions, private sector and government agencies.
• Strong exposure and knowledge of project development feasibility analysis across land subdivision, residential apartment developments, marinas, as well as general commercial including inner city office, retail and mixed-use developments and industrial estates.
• Due diligence programmes for property investment (project/risk assessment) involving detailed economics-based market research and analysis.
