Cygnet West appoints Director of Strategic Client & Stakeholder Relationships
Cygnet West is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Goodenough as Director, Strategic Client & Stakeholder Relationships, who commenced Monday 16 February.
Ian brings a distinctive combination of senior commercial and government experience, underpinned by more than 25 years in commercial property development and 12 years as a Federal Member of Parliament. His career has spanned complex commercial, legislative and stakeholder environments, with a track record of delivering outcomes requiring deep expertise in project feasibility, planning and zoning processes, financial management and multi‑agency coordination.
During his time in Parliament, Ian held leadership positions including Second Deputy Speaker, and served on major committees such as Public Works and Government Procurement. This experience provides him with a well‑rounded understanding of government–industry relationships, knowledge that will support Cygnet West as the firm continues to build strong, trusted partnerships across its client base.
In his new role, Ian will provide strategic support across the business, fostering new client relationships and identifying emerging market opportunities.
Imran Mohiuddin, Chief Executive Officer at Cygnet West, said:
“Ian’s appointment strengthens our ability to navigate complex commercial and government environments, and to build long‑term, trust‑based relationships with our clients. His blend of commercial property expertise and high‑level public sector experience is rare and highly valuable. We’re delighted to welcome him to Cygnet West and look forward to the contribution he will make across the business.”
