As Licensee and Head of Agency, Ian Mickle has been a driving force behind the growth of Cygnet West for more than 35 years.
Ian is one of Perth’s leading agents, having nearly four decades of experience in major asset sales across commercial, retail and development projects.
Ian’s exceptional track record in the Perth property market includes the sale of many of the CBD’s tallest commercial buildings and he has concluded some of the largest single asset sales seen in Perth, including recently, that of the Woodside building, which transacted at circa $485 million.
Ian has also helped to deliver some of WA’s major urban infill developments at: Elizabeth Quay, Joondalup City Centre and Subi Centro. He has worked on more than 15 major government land developments and in many of these projects, he has had a continuous role for in excess of a decade.
Ian headed the team who won the 2022 RICS Australia: Agency Team of the Year.
In addition, Ian was announced as the winner of the Dexus Property Transaction of the Year for his work on the acquisition of Capital Square Tower 1, Perth, Western Australia.
“Capital Square Tower is a Premium grade office building in Perth’s CBD. Dexus secured the property off-market, paying $339 million for a 49% equity interest in the upstream holding trust via an innovative transaction structure that enhanced the yield to Dexus.”
