Ahmad is an international Development and Leasing expert with over 15 years’ experience dedicated to the retail sector.

Ahmad has been integral to the growth of the Cygnet West retail portfolio, having negotiated over 56,000 sqm of leasing deals during FY22, providing him unchallenged access to a very dynamic retail market.

After starting his career in retail leasing and marketing in Dubai, UAE, Ahmad quickly excelled in his role and is today consulting clients on a wide range of retail services including:

• value addition through good design and development practices;
•  leasing strategy formation;
• customised tenant mix arrangement and;
• asset and portfolio management.

So far, Ahmad has:

• Leased over 450,000 sqm of retail space internationally
• Advised on over 200,000 sqm of retail developments
• Introduced several global retail brands into new markets

Today, he leads one of the largest dedicated retail leasing and sales teams in WA, with a combined experience of more than 30 years, covering all major retail assets – including CBD, shopping centres and large format precincts.
